Philosophy of Interdisciplinarity Workshop 2011

Aarhus University, 16-18 August 2011

Our workshop sets out to explore the extraordinarily polymorphic phenomenon of interdisciplinarity. We think that interdisciplinary research provides a rich object of study for Philosophy of Science. Interdisciplinarity highlights the multi-dimensional character of science, its inherent heterogeneity and fascinating diversity – and by doing so, it directs our attention to the challenges that practitioners of science face.
