Abstract
Environmental journalism plays a significant role in shaping public understanding of environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, and environmental damage. Because these issues are global in nature, environmental journalists report them within diverse political, cultural, and media environments. This study examines environmental journalism stories from different regions of the world to identify key themes, narrative strategies, and challenges. Additionally, the colloquium examines how environmental issues are portrayed in the news media. Using a comparative analysis of selected environmental news stories from multiple countries, the findings suggest that while environmental problems are commonly presented as global concerns.
