Abstract
Tycho Brahe died on October 24, 1601, after eleven days of raging fever, terrible agony and delirium. Despite the cause of death being ruled out as natural, rumours of foul play quickly sprung from his sudden passing. In this colloquium, I present an encompassing account surrounding the mysterious death of Denmark’s most famous astronomer, the theories and studies corroborating the murder theory, the current consensus and the main suspect of the crime: his assistant and famous astronomer of his own renown, Johannes Kepler.
Coffee, tea, cakes and fruit will be served before the colloquium at 2 PM.
